🔥 Comp Camp Dynasty – Week 2 Recap

  • 3 min read

The Gloves Are Off

Welcome to Week 2 of Comp Camp, where college football titans are trading haymakers and making early statements that this season ain't gonna be for the faint of heart. From historic rivalries to top-10 heavyweight clashes, we’re already seeing playoff-caliber intensity.

And guess what? This is just the beginning.

Let’s rewind it back and dive into all the smoke from Week 1 👇

🧨 #1 Ohio State vs #5 Texas – Buckeye Brilliance

Coach Roscoe Pico and the top-ranked Buckeyes proved why they’re the ones to beat. After falling behind 24-14 at halftime, Ohio State went full beast mode in the second half, outscoring Texas 30-14 and securing a gutsy 40-34 OT victory.

From play calling to poise, it was a masterclass in second-half adjustments. The Buckeyes look locked in, and Roscoe’s got Columbus believing.

🌴 The U is BACK – Miami Dismantles Florida

It’s loud in Coral Gables again. Miami came out SWINGIN’ in the Sunshine Showdown, torching Florida behind the arm of Cam Ward, who was surgical with 339 yards, 2 TDs, and a 71% completion rate.

The Canes walked out with a 52-35 dub, and the swagger? Yeah, it’s back.

🦆 Oregon Gets Their Get-Back

After getting clapped by Texas in Week 1, Coach Tomlin had his Ducks ready for redemption. They went into Tuscaloosa and left with a gritty 31-28 overtime win over #12 Alabama — even while losing the turnover battle.

Talk about resilience. Oregon showed they're built for the long haul.

🤠 Aggie Uprising – Texas A&M Makes a Statement

Under new HC UDN Choc, the Aggies looked scary good. Freshman QB Marcel Reed (#10) was slingin’ it like a vet, putting up 393 passing yards, 4 TDs, and no picks. The defense did enough, and the offense did the rest in a 51-36 win over #16 Notre Dame.

Texas A&M is firmly in the SEC conversation, and Reed might just be the future.

🏆 2024 Heisman Watch – Week 1

Early in the race, but eyes are already locked on Travis Hunter of Colorado — a 99 overall WR who's causing nightmares for DBs. His teammate Shedeur Sanders is also in the mix, making the Buffaloes a serious Heisman hub.

Also keep your eye on Boise State's Ashton Jeanty, Oregon’s Dillon Gabriel, and Arizona’s Tetairoa McMillan, who are all capable of stealing the crown.
