🎮 Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater – A Classic Spy Tale Reborn

Some remakes take big swings, some take small ones but Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater doesn’t need to prove itself with reinvention. Instead, Konami decided to take one of gaming’s most iconic stealth adventures, give it a next-gen glow-up, and drop it back in our hands almost exactly how we remember it. And honestly? That’s pretty cool.

At #PZGD, we’re all about games that make you feel something games that hit with both nostalgia and fresh energy. Delta does exactly that. It’s the same Cold War spy thriller we grew up with, full of larger-than-life characters, dramatic cutscenes, and Snake’s legendary gravelly voice (yes, David Hayter is back). But now it’s dressed up in Unreal Engine 5 graphics that make the jungle feel alive, the mountain climbs feel epic, and the showdowns hit harder than ever.

What makes this remake fun isn’t just the visuals it’s the throwback gameplay. In a time when stealth games have mostly faded away, Snake Eater reminds you how satisfying it is to crawl through grass, trick guards with gadgets, and pull off the perfect sneaky takedown. It’s like a puzzle every step of the way, and when it clicks, you feel unstoppable.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Metal Gear without the over-the-top moments. Ocelot is still out here meowing at soldiers (yep, really), and The Cobra Unit is just as weird and wonderful as you remember. It’s campy, it’s stylish, and it never stops being entertaining—even if it’s a little wild to see it all in high-def detail.

✨ What We Loved

  • Snake’s stealth-action feels refreshingly fun in 2025.

  • Visuals are stunning but still capture the vibe of the original.

  • Tons of options for nostalgia heads (Legacy camera, filters, OG UI).

  • That iconic story? Still one of the best in gaming.

🕹️ PZGD Game Rating: 8.8 / 10

Snake Eater Delta isn’t about reinventing the wheel—it’s about reminding you why the wheel was legendary in the first place. For fans, it’s pure nostalgia with a modern shine. For newcomers, it’s a chance to experience one of the greatest stealth-action games ever made.

And at the end of the day, how can you not be romantic about Metal Gear Solid all over again?
