GTAV Online has provided the streets new beats for gamers to cruise, bruise, and amuse to. The excitement has brewed for weeks since the announcement of Dr. Dre providing new music for the Rockstar Franchise game. Fans have also discovered that a Dr. Dre appearance is in the game and will even interact with some of our favorite GTAV characters. Could you imagine Lamar (voiced by Slink Johnson "Black Jesus") chopping it up in the streets of Los Santos with Dr. Dre?
The newest radio station premiering "Motomami Los Santos" is an exciting addition giving Latin flare and flavor. Artists like Arca, Daddy Yankee, J Balvin, and infamous flamenco pop singer, Rosalía, who is the host of the new station, make spicy appearances and contributions.
But the main attraction is Dr. Dre. Yes a ton of house and EDM music dropped with the nightclub update, but my guy, this is Dr. Dre. GTAV even went far enough as to make today "Dre Day" (ironically the same day, 20 years ago that "The Chronic 2001" dropped). West Coast Classics radio station, hosted by notorious DJ Pooh, will play Dr. Drey classics that include a rolodex of music royalty like Nas, Ice Cube, and 50 Cent. Diamond Mind - Dr. Dre, Nipsey Hustle, Ty Dolla $ign, one of the newest tracks dropped by Dr. Dre and featured in the GTAV DLC, delivers hypnotic and melodic tones thru its beats, chorus, and lyrical California presence. The "bigger than life" tempo and melody is the right vibe to cruise down Los Santos in a custom Benny's Original low rider.
Rappers Freddie Gibbs, Tyler, the Creator, and Schoolboy Q will be included into the mix of two previous stations overhauled. Their new tracks will give players a refreshing relief as we have been patiently waiting for new music to be added. Anyone who rides with me will be sure to catch some recent bops on Radio Los Santos like A$AP Ferg - Plain Jane, Kodak Black - ZEZE (feat. Travis Scott & Offset), and Mozzy feat. YG - Hoppin’ Out.
